Build sustainably. Return to Division 2.
Our history
The historic Liopetri club is founded, beginning the community football story that remains at the heart of today’s identity.
Achyronas Liopetriou and Onisilos Sotira merge on 22 June to create a stronger, more sustainable football organisation for the Kokkinochoria region.
The new club begins in the Cyprus Second Division and comes close to promotion to the top flight in its first competitive season.
Administrative responsibility passes to the Liopetri committee and the club returns to Liopetri Municipal Stadium.
The club reorganises around a young, developing squad: first stabilise, then build a team capable of returning to the Second Division.
